The mission of Little Portion Farm is to provide fresh food to those in need while using sustainable farming practices to support the health of the land that they steward. Farm staff and volunteers strive to make the farm a place of gathering, service, reflection, and education for our community, and a space for cultivating a deeper appreciation of the beauty of our world and its interconnectedness.

Since 2019, Little Portion Farm has grown and donated more than 130,000 pounds of fresh produce to partner organizations serving the working poor and homeless in Central Maryland. The farm hosts thousands of volunteers each year to accomplish this work, providing opportunity for individuals to live out their faith in this unique way.
