Humility is Key

Homily on Tuesday, August 3rd 2021

This homily was given by Fr. Stephen. The readings all follow each other. The Church does this for  reason – have continuity throughout the year. 

The readings today follow the last few Sunday’s of having greed and fear show up in the people. Today, the readings show jealously and envy. As the Israelites are jealous and envious of others, aren’t we too the same at points in our lives? Of course! 

Yet, Moses is humble. He shows us how we should act towards others – in humility. Humility is the said to be the key to all the virtues. Be humble before God and others.
