And then a leper approached,
did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”
He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I do will it.
Be made clean” (Matthew 8:2-3).

O
hands full of grace, more precious than gold, at whose touch the
bonds of the tongue of the mute were shattered, at whose touch the
daughter of the leader of the synagogue was cured, at whose touch
the lepers were cleansed! The prophet Isaiah speaks of these hands
when he writes, “All these things my hand has made!”
O Lord, extend your hands which were nailed to the cross, to give
us a gift. Whatever You touch will be cleansed and healed.

us pray...
O
good Saint Anthony, Seeker of the Lost, fix your attention on all
that has been lost and needs to be found; restore lost graces, recover
lost objects and let me use everything for the greater glory of
God. Amen. |
