Fr. James McCurry, OFM Conv.
Upon
graduating from Boston College, Fr. James entered the Conventual branch
of the Franciscan Order in 1970. Ordained to the Holy Priesthood
in 1977, he taught on the faculty of St. Hyacinth College and Seminary,
Granby, Massachusetts for 20 years. Since 1979 he has curated the
Maximilian Kolbe Archives in the United States, and directed the Marian
Apostolate of St. Anthony Province, USA. He is past-President of
the Mariological Society of America, and a member of the Pontifical International
Marian Academy, headquartered in Rome. Since 1982, he has organized
and directed his Province's Franciscan Pilgrimage ministry.
Having preached in all 50 states
of the United States and over 40 countries of the world, he has also authored
articles in numerous publications, recorded audio and video programs,
and hosted a 13-part series on the Eternal Word Television network entitled
"Mariology: The Blessed Virgin Mary's Place in Our Lives."
Fr. James is currently the guardian of St. Joseph Cupertino Friary in
Ellicott City, Maryland, where he continues to write and to minister at
the Shrine of St. Anthony.
Fr. Jude Winkler, OFM Conv.
Ordained
in 1981, Fr. Jude received his baccalaureate degree from the theological
faculty of St. Bonaventure in Rome and his licentiate degree in exegesis
(S.S.L.) from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. He has taught
at various colleges and graduate schools, including St. Hyacinth College
and Seminary, St. Anthony Theologate, DeSales School of Theology, and
St. Bonaventure University. He is currently an adjunct faculty member
of the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore,
the Education for Parish Service Program of Trinity College, Washington,
DC, and the Roman Catholic Franciscan Theological Faculty of Roman, Romania.
Fr. Jude has written over 150
articles applying the truths of scripture to everyday life, 25 children's
books, and has recorded over 30 audio tapes on catechetical themes. Fr.
Jude preaches throughout the country for parish missions, retreats, days
of recollection, etc. He also assists in the adult education programs
of various parishes.
Fr. Bart A. Karwacki, OFM Conv.
A
native of Riverside, NJ, Fr. Bart was ordained a priest in 1975. He holds
a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of
America, Washington, DC, and has advanced training in spiritual direction
from the Franciscan Internship Program in Spiritual Direction in Cincinnati,
OH. Since ordination Fr. Bart has served as a teacher, coach, and guidance
counselor at high schools in Maryland and New York. Currently he resides
at St. Joseph Cupertino Friary in Ellicott City, MD where he provides
spiritual direction for individuals and preaches parish missions, retreats,
and days of recollection for the laity, priests and religious.
Fr. Timothy Kulbicki, OFM Conv.
Fr.
Timothy Kulbicki is a Baltimore native and member of St. Anthony of Padua
Province. Ordained in 1986, Fr. Tim earned a doctorate in Church History
at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1997. Soon after he
was appointed to the faculty of St. Mary's Seminary and University in
Baltimore, the nation's first seminary, where he holds the rank of Associate
Professor of Historical Studies and serves as Dean of the School of Theology
and Praeses of the Ecclesiastical Faculty. He remains active in preaching
ministry, adult education, publication, and ministry development primarily
in the Baltimore area, on topics in church history, contemporary spirituality
and cultural trends, and personal and group spiritual renewal.
